Hundreds Rally in Kishinev Moldova To Support Israel

Kishinev, Moldova. - Hundreds of people came out Wednesday in a show of solidarity to take a stand in support of Israel.

One of the keynote speakers was Chief Rabbi of Kishinev & Moldova, Rabbi Zalman Abelsky. Rabbi Abelsky, was vocal and clear about not giving away land. He stressed and repeated his unbound Faith that G-d is with us and that we have the responsibility to defend Jewish lives. Rabbi Abelsky reminded everyone that before the six day war the Lubavithcer Rebbe came out with “Mivtz Tefilin” and therefore every one at this rally should put Tefillin.
Tefillin was put on by Rabbi Rachamim Belenki, Chabad Shliach in Kishinev, Moldova.

First secretary of Israeli Embassy for Moldova, Stav Nezhinsky, said. "Any country that would be attacked by thousands of rockets and missiles in its territory would respond with all necessary force."

''As we stand at this Holocaust Memorial,'' said one of the speakers, with the memorial's symbolic hand reaching toward the sky behind her, ``let's remember what the consequences of inaction are in the face of evil.''

Other speakers were: Mr Shabtai Hanukaiov from the “Kavkaz Jewish community”. Mr Reuven Aharonov representing the Moldovian Jewish congress. Mr. Rabinovich & Mrs Yulia Groisman.
